Collected Visions is the soundtrack for an installation of the same name made in collaboration with photographer Lorie Novak in 1992. The installation concerns growing up female in America, as depicted in family snapshots. Originally shown at the Houston Center for Photography, Collected Visions was part of the inaugural show of the Smithsonian’s African American Museum Project in 1993.
